We stayed at the lodge for 7 nights in February 2010. What a beautiful venue with fantastic surroundings and excellent hosts. We were sorry to leave so soon. We wil definately spend some time there again in future and will recommend it to our friends.

After three days in the wild park of the " big 5" I´m back now in the Sweden again and here it´s real autumn.
Next time it´s not only me, it´s we to coming to Jacobsbbai.

“Excellent!!!”
In April 2008, a friend and I did a "road trip" style holiday. It was wonderful. We toured the Cape Peninsula and drove up the West Coast.
We've made a reservation at the Baviana Beach Lodge in Jacobsbaai, a few kilometers from Saldanha, on the way to Vredenburg.
From the first moment we arrived at Baviana Beach Lodge, until the last moment we've left, it was all in all a wonderful experience!!
The owners, Archibald and Belinda Hanekom, treated us very nicely. Very friendly and wonderful people.
We stayed in the Malgas room for 2 nights. It was so relaxing. We sat on a little bench about 1 minutes walk away from the sea, looking at the breathtaking sunsets.
The rooms are very clean. We also had a living room, kitchenette and a private BBQ area. The bathroom was also nice and clean.
It was so quiet and safe. We slept with the windows open at night. All you could hear was the waves crashing on the rocks.
A rustic experience. I haven't felt so relaxed in years.
